working usb ethernet for mk808 (info inside )

i know this has been posted inside the device compatibility thread before but i dont like that thread if you use forum search to find a compatibility device you see that topic but have to read every post just to find what your looking for. so thats why im posting this here

    TV STICK mk808
    ROM finless 1.6

I went to good will today to browse electronics section for random stuff. i found a usb ethernet adapter for wii still in box for $4.00 Ive read before that this one works with tv sticks so i couldnt pass it up ( i would have baught it anyways to try if i already didnt know it works.) glad i dont have to gamble and buy one that im not sure if will even work

It works realy well on wifi my mk808 got between 20 and 32 mb/s with this adapter im geting 61.72 mb/s
    xbmc is working fine

these have gotten a lot cheaper since last time i looked 2 months ago they were at around 25 now there around 10

heres a link for any one who wants to buy one

Did you need to install any drivers or did it work straight out of the box and how did you connect it to the MX808 ? thanks

workes strait out of the box with 1.6 finless rom i have a 4 cord usb wire hub with the wires running to different parts of the entertainment i dont have this powered on this hub ihave a measy rc11 fly mouse a usb audio device the wii ethernet usb the empty port is running to my desk for random usb drives

im not using the stock charger tho i modified a 5v 2amp psp charger to work on my mk808

if your still using the 5v 1amp you realy need to switch it out for a 2amp it helps alot with wifi signal ect

run a ethernet cable from usb ethernet to ether your modem or wifi router

i dont use dlna i use xbmc

download xbmc from http://xbmc.org/download/ click android version

search google for how to setup xbmc with smb

once set up all your movies will show up in xbmc on android with coverart and information about what each movie is about

kindalike having your own netflix but with your own movies

Thanks for the heads up on this product.
It arrived today and works perfectly.. just plug n play.

All my movie files stream perfectly from my computer now, except the 1080 movies.. any fix for this yet ?

            thanks
