If you a Monitor with DVI the only that you need is a HDMI to DVI Cable.
If not buy a HDMI to VGA Converter from ****.

AW: are there usb to vga drivers ?

On **** you find a Cable from HDMI to VGA. You can try this first. Than if it not work you need a HDMI Converter.

I had the same problem - wanted to connect my 802-III to my monitor but none of them had HDMI. I tried several HDMI to DVI adapters and NONE of them worked... just an exercise in frustration. Either they didn't work at all, or the video was garbled.

I went out on a limb and bought one of these: Cable Matters HDMI to VGA adapter with audio and it works great. Video is clear and stable and there's an 1/8th inch audio jack that splits the audio off the HDMI - don't need a USB sound card or anything. I suppose DVI might be sharper, but I'm perfectly happy with VGA since it lets me keep the DVI port on the monitor for my computer.
