Ainol 7 inch Quad core tablet

How reliable are Ainol tablets? I'm thinking of buying the 7 inch quad core model. I had a momo7 tablet before but after a year it died out on me. Support from the manufacturer is also not that good. They refused to release a JB version of the rom and it occassionaly rebooted and froze. Now it's just a paper weight.

So far this tablet from Ainol is the only one I've seen with a quad core. So if anyone knows of any other brands please let me know.

I can't actually vouch for the quality of any of them, but there are a bunch of other quad core 7" tablets either on the market now or coming very soon. Some of them are more expensive than others, of course.

    Viewsonic ViewPad N710
    GalaPad 7
    ICOO iCou7GT
    Hyundai T7

Again, I don't know about quality on any of these, but I thought it might be helpful to know that there are other options.

Hey thanks! The Hyundai and the ICOO looks good. Probably settle for any of these. Just have to find out how upgradeable they are, that is, support from the manufacturer or devs.

        Ainol Venus

Just got the tablet the other day. Build was fine. Screen is quite good. Not as fast as other quad cores due to a lowly GPU and as most have said the CPU is not based on the A9 but on the A5. Antutu identifies it as A7 though. Batterry life is quite good. So if you are not onto 3D gaming then this tablet is a good buy. Bought it here in China for the equivalent of $109. It has 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, HDMI and micro USB ports but no GPS and bluetooth.

          Ainol crystal

I can say for my ainol novo crystal that the quality is fine, the stock rom works acceptable good, but rom modding is not so easy, because they have changed the hardware for the crystal twice until now. The result is: three versions of the model, with different firmware version. If it is Ainol policy to change hardware of one model every few month, I would not buy another one.
