Help needed with Ethernet adapter MK808

I bought a Ethernet adapter fro my mk808... finless 1.6
I plug it in,it does not work.
It came with a driver cd and on that cd is are 2 folders that have android folders in them, the 2 folders are called "JP1081 1082 9700Driver"and "SR9600Driver".

In JP1081 1082 9700Driver folder is another folder called "android" in it is a file called "jp1081_android.tar".

In SR9600Driver folder is a folder called "android driver" and in that folder is a file called "android_sr9600_driver[1].tar".

So how can I install these drivers please? and do I need to install both ?

    thanks

When you running a Finless Rom pls see if there is a Directory Called /etc/init.d
and a programm called busybox in /xbin.

If you have these Directory & File then extract the Driver to your Tablet and copy the ko modules with a Root Explorer (eg. Root Explore Lite from Play Store)
to /system/lib/modules. Change the File premission to 777.
Than greate a Textfile on your Tab with the following:

    insmod /system/lib/modules/yourmodule.ko

    save it as 10 only.
Copy this file to /etc/init.d/ and change the permissions to 777.

Now reboot your Tab and see if it Works.

      Hi Thanks for the reply.

When I extract the android_sr9600_driver[1].tar it gives me a folder which has no ko modules.
This is what is inside the folder:

      .android_sr9600.o.d

      android_sr9600.c

      android_sr9600.h

      Makefile

      README

      thanks

Is it also possible to compile an Android driver from Linux sources?

I have a USB2.0 to Ethernet adapter with HG20F9 chipset, and the CD comes with Linux driver sources:

                21.08.2012 03:04 35.820 axusbnet.c
                17.05.2012 03:20 6.462 axusbnet.h
                22.08.2012 02:55 102.880 HG20F9.c
                17.05.2012 03:20 17.085 HG20F9.h
                21.08.2012 02:54 703 Makefile
                21.08.2012 03:23 2.586 readme

The chip seems to be used in several adapters, I already found many people trying to find Android drivers, but no luck so far...

I can send you the sources if you want to take a look,

Ich benutze einen MK808 mit Finless 1.6 ROM, also Kernel müsste 3.0.8+ sein...
