Arnova 10b G2 Capacitive Screen - ROM coming!

I have done a ROM for the Arnova 10b G2 Resistive screen but due to not having a original ROM for the 10b G2 Capacitive screen I have been unable to make a ROM for it.
THE WAIT IS OVER!
A user was able to get a ADB dump and I downloaded this ROM DUMP from a 10b G2 Capacitive Tablet. I was successfully able to get it unpacked with some tweaking in a hex editor.

Expect a ROM for this tablet soon! I will apply the 1.4 mods to it and forgo making a 1.3 since most probably want the faster 1.4 anyway.

Sure, you can install the market 3.4.4 without update your Arnova, if you search on google "Market Arnova 10b g2" you will find. Is the same way for all the arnovas.

Since I have not done a ROM for this model yet, you guys will be next! It will be my 1.4 ROM but for the 10b G2 Capacitive. See the 10 G2 thread for whats ion my 1.4 ROM.

OK one of the first things I do when trying to crack a new RK29 ROM is actually flash the stock ROM to my Arnova 10 G2. I know most stuff wont work but at least I can see if it boots so when I apply my changes I can continue to see if it at least boots so I know I made a ROM that does not bootloop or brick on boot!

With that said GET READY FOR THIS!

I just flashed the DUMP I got from an Arnova 10b G2 Capacitive screen user and guess what! It works fine on my Arnova 10 G2!!!!! Yes there are a few anomalies with the screen but it works 100%.

So while you BRICKED Arnova 10b G2 Capacitive screen users are waiting for my 1.4 ROM, you can at least get back to working by flashing the Arnova 10 G2 ROM to your tablet!

Please try this ROM here (Arnova 10 G2 Finless 1.4) and please let me know what happens!
Please FOLLOW the instructions in my ROM kit!!!!!

I am actually going to hold off on doing the 10b G2 Capacitive until I hear back from someone about that ROM flash. It maybe these tablets are the same with only subtle changes. If I know this it will be much easier to root a real 10b G2 Capacitive tablet rather than working from scratch.

Well these are Bad news, it does not work!

I think I'm bricked somehow. The flash went well but after I receive the Freak load image, I have a black screen and can't do antyhing. Pushing on the ON/Off button does give me flashing screen where I could read something around the Calibration running.
Connecting it to My PC does recognize it but no data is reachable and it seems to corrupt my other USB devices as my usb stick is no more visible once my Arnova is connected.

Resetting the Arnova, just bring me the Freak tab image but followed by the same black screen.

I will not reinstall the Arnova image so If you need some more info, I'm there.

Thanks a lot Miklaus, My Arnova is back but I don't have the Market Android neither the APPLIBs.

I was also guessing it would not work but I had to give it a try for Finless and I'm waiting is feedback as I would like to take benefits of all is changes.

Looking at Storage, I only have 212Mo available for application which is not a lot.

I will look futher on how to install the Android MArket.
