    MK808 OR MK808B - its buying time

    Hi,

im sure this question may have been asked before but please help me make a decision on what to buy... ive wasted far too much time researching and im still no clearer.

i was planning to purchase from geekbuying

China-1 Stock | Buy MK808 Dual Core Android 4.2 Jelly Bean TV BOX RK3066 Cortex-A9 Mini PC Stick Support Skype Live Chat online at unbeatable prices. ✓Free Shipping ✓Limited Time Sale ✓Local Warehouses.

WHY IS THEIR A DIFFERENCE WHEN IT COMES TO "You save"
WHY IS THE WHITE VERSION usually more expensive ?

i been reading alot of old posts and i read the antennas are different something about pins...

im not very technical, considering both products are the same price currently i just want to know which ones the best for me to buy

the live chat button on the website dont seem to do anything.

im also concerned because i have a wireless logitech keyboard, if i buy this product on its own im going to need a bluetooth dongle i hear not all brands are supported so the one i got may not work

can i use the onscreen keyboard so only need a usb mouse?

i cant seem to find the bluetooth dongles sold on its own on geekbuying

do you think i should buy a rc11 air-mouse so i get one included

or maybe even just go with the mk808b

please help me to make a decision before monday arrives

    thank you

p.s since im in the united kingdom will i get sent a uk plug or just a convertor

    go for 808B

short answer - MK808B. (I guess even if you order a normal 808 they'll send you a B. Few people have faced this )

forget about the "you save" thing. marketing gimmicks.
as for your wireless logitech keyboard, if it is bluetooth, you can't readily put in a bluetooth dongle in mk808. If it is not bluetooth but a 2.4Ghz something (RF may be), your existing dongle will work with the device.

Yes you will get an onscreen keyboard by default. so if you won't type much you're good with just a mouse. But i recommend you use a hardware keyboard as the number of things you do with this device will increase once you start using it. (Normal browsing for starters)

1 person faced a doa rc-11 issue. (Check geekbuying 808b's review page)

You will get a converter. Atleast i got one. A flat pin 2A adaptor and a white converter U.K. even though i am not in the UK .. lol (but that doesn't matter to me)

I made the choice of an 808B and i received it 2 days earlier (geekbuying) so i'm pretty excited about it. WiFi BT etc all works well. If you router is far away (more than 15 feet) you might have to slightly mod the 808B's wifi hardware, pretty easy. (but a wifi mod goes for almost all pc sticks)
For skype i think i should be able to use a bluetooth handsfree and not disturb everyone at home. (Haven't tested it yet. Will report back after tests)

And you always have the legendary Finless around who has just come up with the 1.6A rom for the 808B!
