Wifi issue with Neo G4 and JB firmware

Hello all,
I have just received my Neo G4 and flashed the JB720 firmware on it right away. While I always seem to be connected via Wifi with strong signal (almost full signal bar), many times I don't have any access to the internet. Neither with a browser, neither with some app (connection timeout). Switching on / off Wifi does not help, neither a restart. Thanks a lot for your help in advance!

Since nobody seems to care here, a note to myself:

Change the router's wifi channel to a lower channel between 6 - 8 because the Neo G4 might have problems with higher wifi channels. This should fix your problem.

its not that no one cares my friend,
this is a small site,very new still,and not a lot of members online all the time,
add to that,there has to be someone with someone to offer help,
some members may not want to help,or speak,
as a lot of sites will bash or belittle you if you are not right,
of within the sites nazi type rules,
this site is not like others,
all seem to be treated with respect,
the noobs like me to droid,and the masters all get respect,

Guys, don't get me wrong! I really didn't mean it that way and I appreciate it that everyone is nice to each other here so that even I (100% noob) had the guts to post a question without being afraid of the typical noob bashing.

Actually, this is why I made the effort to "answer to myself" because I think that it is important to try to give something back (even as a noob) and not just request 100 features to be implemented in a rom by Bob and in the end blame him for any little detail not working

By the way, Bob: Is there going to be a Finless version for the NeoG4 / is the Finless 1.0 version for the NeoX5 compatible with the G4?

Sounds like some site with an "X" & "DA" in it.

real fix

the problem is the wifi cable,
solder a real wifi antenna on the board and it works great, very stable,
becouse my internet before died 20times an hour this fixed it,

I have a minix X5 and also have solder a new pigtail to my board.

Now I have an external antenna and the original one.

I noticed my wifi signal boosted up a bit in same location from my la fonera 2100 working as a repeater!

It was like from 3/4 bars to 4/5 bars.

But X5's internal chip is quite limited regarding wifi. Probably you would be better off with a better wifi router
