How to unbrick a fully bricked Neo G4 (That has a broken recovery button)

Many thanks to neog4/FreeRadical for firstly breaking his recovery button (like myself) and then bricking his device. We came together and eventually nutted out a solution which you can find in the tutorial I've written at my site:

I thought this may be useful for not only those who experience this same unfortunate situation but also Finless Bob, it would save you needing that 3rd hand for unbricking your X5

I will eventually do the same tutorial for the X5, it's not needed as much as this one though.. the recovery button on the X5 is MUCH stronger than the one on the G4

Thanks for sharing. This is how you unbrick many of the other TV sticks like UG802, etc. Interesting that they share having these pads on the board.

Also step 7 the instruction wording is correct (press restore button) but your picture shows upgrade as highlighted. You probably should fix that to save confusion.

    Bob
"Pzebacz im, bo nie wiedzą, co czynią"
"Прости им, они не ведают, что творят"
"Perdona loro perché non sanno quello che fanno"
"Vergib ihnen, denn sie wissen nicht, was sie tun"
"Vergeef hen want ze weten niet wat ze doen"
"Pardonne-leur car ils ne savent pas ce qu'ils font"
"Perdónalos porque no saben que lo que hacen"
"Oprosti im, jer ne znaju što čine"
"Forgive them as they know not what they do"

He left out the part that he's in Australia and I am in India :P
Just to update, my Neo G4 has been working great since. Before it went bust, I was having several issues like spontaneous reboots, FCs and even graphic artifacts.
Thank you for all the help Gh0st
