How to wipe cache and dalvik cache partitions?

    Hi folks,

I'm running a MK808 with Finless 1.6 ROM. Using the Reboot app to reboot into recovery, all I get is a dead android and a red exclamation mark. Is there anyway to get to a working CWM in order to wipe the cache partition and the dalvik cache? It's a habit of mine to do it after flashing a new kernel.

Thank you for any help you can provide on the matter!

    Cheers.

Download cwm for mk808. Unzip to desktop or somewhere you will remember.
Use the flash tool that came with the ROM. Uncheck everything except recovery. The little white box to the far right is for browsing to locate the IMG file you want. Put into flash mode and flash. Will be really fast and should boot into recovery mode. Use arrow up/down on keyboard to navigate arrow left to select.

      Hi kididaho,

Thanks for the response. I've actually did all that you mentioned and the issue I'm running into is that no input device works in CWM. I've reflashed it several times and it simply won't respond. I did get into CWM from Android via the reboot app though.

Is there a way to get to recovery from power up?

      Cheers.

the only way i get into cwm recovery is from the reboot app included in Bob's ROM or to use the CWM ROM Manager from GPlay.
