MK802 IIIS - Which Rom to use?

Just yesterday I got the MK802 IIIs ..and now I've a big question..which rom should I use?

I don't know if using stock rom (january 2013 version) or neomode custom rom or finless 1.5 rom (for imito mx1)

I need stability and a good wifi signal
By reading the threads it seems to me that both neomode and finless 1.5 have much more features than stock rom but it seems that finless has a little worse wifi performance than stock and neomode rom and neomode rom has some issues while streaming hd videos from youtube

..so which rom would you suggest me to flash?

For me, after trying the ROM you mention, the best is definitely the NeoMode. Very stable, good image and specific to this model androidpc

Hi Galock

The mk802 IIIs model is rooted by default. If you change the rom, the device don't loose the root so you will not have problems with that

Yes my Rom is Rooted and Tweaked for Speed and Stability.
And always use a USB Power Switch with min 5V and 1.5 A.

Maybe it will Work, i dont have check it.
It is possible that Wlan and Bluetooth not work.
You can only try it if it Work.

yes the mx1/2 1.7a or b work perfectly and are very compatible i havent been happy with any firmware untill that one i tried neomodes and it froze and rebooted just like the factory firmware plus the issues with launcher2 blocked! etc. i have had perfect use since the mx1/2 1.7a i use mk802iiis bt 8gig this firmware wont work with the non bluetooth you have to use ug802 1.7 with that one! try every rom that is compatible with your mini pc and make your own mind up weather factory, finless or neomode rom!

finless bob has implemented alot of features that no one else has like full support for remote from rkremote app on android devices and its very fast compared to other firmware!

i have had perfect use since the mx1/2 1.7a i use mk802iiis bt 8gig this firmware wont work with the non bluetooth you have to use ug802 1.7 with that one! try every rom that is compatible with your mini pc and make your own mind up weather factory, finless or neomode rom!

yes that is correct so does the finless 1.5 for mx1/2 but its much older firmware than 1.7a

The Finless Bob v1.7a rom can't playback mp4 smoothly on the MK802IIIs. I tested a 30fps clip and it will stutter all the time it's 100% smooth on a computer i also tried encoding it with h.264 main profile it still stutters. I use 1080p boot and kernel.

Please try Archos Player - I use it on Finless 1.5 1080p and it has no problems with 1080p playback from NAS. This player has a big buffer, therefore it's not affected by network problems of IIIs.
