How to turn off my MK808?

I bought MK808. I love it but I can`t find a safe way to turn him off!Do I just unplug him or their is a app for that?
I heard that 1.6 has that option but I also heard that 1.7 is coming soon so I would wait it out..
So please, how can i turn off my MK808?

If you're rooted, install the terminal emulator app. You should be able to do the following commands in (all without the quotations!!):-

Gain root access for the app first = "su"
Shutting the device down = "reboot -p"

If you are not rooted yet, then here's what I would do. Close all running apps. Disable WIFI just to make sure it is not running in the background (AKA writing to your NAND for whatever reason), then pull the power. This is not ideal and not something you want to do consistently as you'll risk corrupting the filesystem over time. Move to Finless's ROM when you can cause it has a nice power button on the status bar.

I`m not rooted,I just got mine and i plan to put Finless 1.7 when it comes.I hope I will manage to put Finless 1.6 in short time, but until then,i was hoping there was some app that could shut it down for me. So kill all apps and wifi and then is safe to turn it off?How do I kill them?

It is a beta, but open and is stable (at least for me).

I was thinking of putting 1.6 until final 1.7 arrives.I have directions for 1.6 so I am not afraid to install it.Do you see any improvement considering 1.7?

Finless has released ROMs for both the MK808, MK808B, and for a clone as well.

it's about as unbeta a beta as you're likely to see...

I'd just install 1.7 and be happy that he released it for everyone to play with.
