New libstagefright.so causes problems on MK802III/UG802

Hi all

I have been trying to install the new libstagefright.so from Rockchip without any success on my MK802III.

Each time I install it, XBMC and the internet browser fail to open, they try to load for a couple of seconds then just crash back to the launcher home screen. Also if I reboot the device it gets stuck on the boot screen.

Has anybody else tried the new libstagefright on either the MK802III or the UG802 yet?
Have you managed to install it without any problems?

I use ES file manager with root set to copy (system set to R/W) the new libstagefright.so into the system/lib folder overwriting the old one
Then make sure the permissions are set to rw- r-- r-- on the new libstagefright.

So far I have tried the new libstagefright.so without success on:
finless 1.6 for Mk802III/ UG802
finless/2dark4u 1.7 for MK802III/UG802
and also UG802 High performace Rom from allminipc (2dark4u)

Am I doing something wrong?

I have installed in mk808b (rk903) like you described and no problems. I have not use xbmc, but browser and mxplayer runs very well (before they was running good too).

I also need to check if that is what is causing my issue.

Since I experiment last week I was able to install 3 different roms a couple of times.
The latest 2.12 Lewy has that new libstagefright and it is the only rom that causes my HD stream to mess up really badly. I installed it twice to see if it wasn't a one time thing but it was reproducable every single time.

@leolas : time we have rompacks which are cwm compatible. It would save me a couple of hours a week ;-)

Super, was also trying to get some time for it in the couple of weeks to try to script it.
It would make life for us and Bob a bit easier to incorperate patches and updates, so another nice thing happening.
