Hello all I'm running on my iMito MX1 finless 1.7a rom and installed MX Player. When playing back 1080p mkv files I find it a little choppy. Its set to do HW decoding. Anything else I could try. Its not a video issue as I've tried more then one file for playback.
I tried this same video on PC or my Panasonic 55VT50 with no issues at all and smooth.
I only have mine set to 720p as it's on a 22" bedroom TV and I really can't tell the difference between 720 and 1080 from about 5m away! (not even sure I can from up close!)
Anyway - MxPlayer plays my 720p mkv files just about OK but it goes choppy if there is a lot of movement etc.
The stock player that came on the finless rom plays it much smoother though. Only problem is there seems to be a bug in the finless rom and it reboots when you stop playing a video!
So I take it to be an MXPlayer issue, I was told to try BSPlayer but haven't had time to test it yet
