There are several posts here on how to do it.
Depends on what ROM you are using.

MK808 and my 1.7 ROM all you need to do is edit build.prop and change ro.fs.rotation=

Other ROM require a code change:

    Bob
"Pzebacz im, bo nie wiedzą, co czynią"
"Прости им, они не ведают, что творят"
"Perdona loro perché non sanno quello che fanno"
"Vergib ihnen, denn sie wissen nicht, was sie tun"
"Vergeef hen want ze weten niet wat ze doen"
"Pardonne-leur car ils ne savent pas ce qu'ils font"
"Perdónalos porque no saben que lo que hacen"
"Oprosti im, jer ne znaju što čine"
"Forgive them as they know not what they do"

First off, thanks for the great ROMs you make Bob.
I too need to use the portrait mode in MK808B devices. Earlier I used MK802 with stock ROMs and used the Ultimate Screen Rotaion control app to do this but with the 808B with either stock roms or custom roms , this simply does not work. Upon inquring from the creator of the Rotation control app, he said that on these devices, the orientation is locked in to landscape mode at OS level so nothing can change that at application level.
Now I'm not an Android dev by any means and I cant figure out how to edit a buid prop ( or even know what it is..) so would it be too much to ask from you to release a version of any one of your roms for the MK808B with this setting fixed so that it can rotate the screen to portrait mode ?
        Thank you.

Just to add to my own post up above, I was able to get this done using Bob's 2.0 ROM for the MK808B and the build prop editor app.
Changed the ro.sf.fakerotation to false and ro.sf.hwrotation to 180 and after the reboot, its on Portrait!

This is what I'm trying to do as well. Can you share where do you find 'build prop app' ?

The Build Prop Editor is on the Play Store which you would have found with a simple search ... see https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...p.editor&hl=en

                Sure, Its on google play.

Note that your device needs to be rooted to run this app. If you are using any of Bob's ROMs, its already rooted but if its for some other rom, first ensure that it is rooted.
