I found an apk for the google tv version of netflix (tv optimized instead of tablet optimized) but i could not get it to install. Using the tablet version of netflix is the only thing i don't like about my mk802 IIIs. Has anyone been able to get this version of netflix to work on a non google tv? and if so how did you do it? and if not could anyone help me figure out how to get it to work? I already tried to change the build.prop to that of a vizio co-star but it still would not install.

it's a bit more involved then that, you gave me good idea tho, I'll look at the apk and see if I can mod one, reason it wont work is because it checks for framework files you don't have unless you have a googleTVOriginally posted by ss2pheonix View Post -

I played with it awhile bit over my head. Tried putting CTV framework files on mk808. Kept getting loop. I sent my stuff over to a Dev here. Maybe he will figure it out.

I looked at it again. Methinks that if you use apktool to decompile something that its not how it looked when it went into compiler, I learn this stuff by looking at code already done, kinda in reverse. So I'm confident someone who knows the ins and outs better of android can fix it no problem. One thing does always seem true. Those arbitrary requirements aren't always so, intact I did see in the manifest.XML something about com.googletv required"true" or something to that effect. I changed it but couldn't make it recompile.
