Right now I am happy with stereo sound. I have the el cheapo usb sound card adapter from amazon as shown in the first post. I have only had success plugged into the full size usb port on the mk808b. I have plugged a 3.5mm to rca composite stereo cable into the headphone jack and the rca ends to my A/V receiver. At first I did not have sound, but the adapter has volume up and down buttons. After many presses on volume up, I started to get sound and kept pressing until it maxed. The sound from my amp sounds really good....I was surprised and happy. I have not yet tried a hub, but from what I am learning (thanks to this forum) it should work fine as long as the hub plugs to the full size usb on the mk808. I now have a working sound solution for my mk808b and projector setup.

1.7 ROM has updated audio stuff so it's possible I broke that in 1.7? it shouldnt but again try 1.6

Sounds interesting, but does the MK808's USB provide enough power to make it work flowerless?

Since we are limited in USB ports it would be advised in putting a usb-hub between the MK808 and the audio dongle, but unless the hub is externally powered I doubt if the MK808 could keep it all working(sound, mouse, hdd, etc). Does anyone have more experience with it?
if so, how much power should the USB-hub provide?

I have an MK802IIIS(B) running Finless 1.7a for Imito MX1/2 (1080p). The stick itself is powered by a 2000mA charger and is connected to a 4-port USB hub which has its own 2500mA power supply. The hub is host to a (Wii) USB-Ethernet adapter, a Dynamode USB2.0 sound card and occasionally to a 2.5" USB HDD. No problems whatsoever with any of the devices.

I'm using a Rii BT keyboard/touchpad combo to control the MK802.

            Timbo,

have you tried the Vantec USB External 7.1 Channel Audio Adapter you talked about previously?
            Thinking about getting one too.

The same box is sold on Amazon.de as "DELOCK Adapter USB 2.0 Soundbox 7.1"

But a.f.a.i.k. the MK808 can't use any 7.1 or 5.1 outputs at all.

I have not yet purchased it, but plan to soon. Reading this thread here http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...d-AC3-decoding ,leads me to believe that better sound capability is on the horizon.
