    Finless ROM and TVI7

    Hi guys!

    I recently acquired one of these box. It's RK3066 based and uses same launcher as UG802.

    Would be great if I could run Filess rom on it. I succesfully flashed the small box with all sort of roms, includding Finless 1.8 (UG802 one) but when the system finish the loading process for the first time USB and remote are not working, and I can't do anything, like enable SSH server.
    I extracted the original firmware image and mounted it as ext4 on linux. Did the same to Finless rom, but I dont know wich files correspond to USB drivers to inject it on Finless.
    I dont know how remote works on these roms, I couldn't find remote.conf on /etc.

    Anyone could please help me with this? I can upload original firmware if you want.

          I'm posting int the wrong area? Is some information lacking? I'm REALLY needing help here. What should I do? Beg?
          I'm not asking for a solution, I just wish someone could point me a direction. A community isn't supposed to work this way?

                What is the remote on this? IR? wireless? etc.
                I am going to try and port my 1.7 ROM but I need to know more info.

                    They use KL and KCM files in /system/usr/

                    I will look into it. I do not have that remove but I have another so at least I can test some.

                      OMG... this ROM is crap!

                      Sheesh I can see why your not happy

                      I will only be able to do so much. The kernel for this will not boot on any stick I have. So your stuck with what the kernel provides. However I can give you my ROM. Remote might work and might not. I will do my best to try.

                      Stay tuned. I am working on it now.

                        So, now you understand me?
                        It's weird because your rom and kernel boots on device. System loads fine. If I insert a micro SD card the system mount it, but USB and remote doesn't works. Without remote/keyboard I can't say if are something else not working.
                        This box uses a custom kernel?

                          I want to tell you I am having much problems making this ROM. USB does not work right!

                          I am not sure if I can make progress now not having this hardware.

                          What a bunch of CRAP this ROM is!
                          I believe the kernel is locked with security check or something.

                            I never saw something like this. Very sad, indeed.
                            It's the price for buying cheap chinese electronics. Should I stick with OFW with this one?

                              I am about to give up making a ROM for this... There for sure is something going on that is NOT normal. Like tracking software on what APPs are there or modifications to the ROM.

                              After 7 attempts I cannot make a ROM that boots!

                              I have not given up yet but this kernel is the biggest POS I have seen yet and something is going on with framework!

                              I am at a loss as of yet
