how to connect powered hub to imito mx2 - which sockets/port . struggling to configure?

i have an imito mx2 - 2 usb ports 1 mini / 1 full
i have the mini otg usb cable / and mini to standard usb cable (power supply)

i have a hub with 5 ports and they are all full sized ports, there was a small usb cable port, but that's broken from the hub?

im trying to work out how i can connect the imito stick so it works

i have a portable 1 tb harddrive (non mains) which i want to connect. this doesnt work when i directly connect to the stick

logitech keyboard k400 wireless

First you have to plug the Logitech Unifying receiver into your pc and pair it with your k400 keyboard (I use the same KB, it works great with the MX2). Now it's ready to insert into any usb connected to your mx2. Sounds like you need a working powered usb hub. This one should work:
