Help flashing firmware to MK808B...

First thread here and am new to Android TV World but been using android devices for years. I've read many threads and haven't come up with answers yet, so figured I would post since I'm going crazy trying. I downloaded the latest Finless 1.7 and am unable to figure out how to flash it. I read the readme file, tried all the steps and haven't been able to make any progress with any of the methods.

I plug my computer into the MK808B OTG port, it detects the MK808B (shows up in device manager and I can access the files through windows explorer). I run the ROM Flash Tool.exe or RKBatchTool.exe and don't get the device detected. I've tried on a Vista machine and a Windows 8 machine both with the same issue. What am I missing, it seems like this should be fairly simple but I'm clearly missing something here.

Additionally I tried the reset button, it sits on the screen with the android dude with the exclamation mark in it's stomach... computer doesn't detect the USB at this time. Currently it's running Android 4.1.1 Kernel 3.0.8+ olsen_V_402j1 #34 SMP PREEMPT Wed Jan 16 18:14:26 CST 2013.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I will say not everthing in your video was correct but SPOT ON for the most part! I hate videos with music and no one talking and explaining things. Again. Did you do this work?

Hi Guys,

Wow, thanks for posting my video. I really like this ROM it has been working very well for me. Furthermore, it helped me to get Droidmote working as well. Driodmote on my mk802 did not seem to work since it was missing uinput (very important) and also was not rooted (might be important).
