    Please Help ME!!!!!!

only had this mk 808 a couple of day's never had a rom flash, after a hour of using it and setting it up, it froze, i had to wait a while before it would turn back on and again it froze, i got in touch with the company that i bought it from and they sent me a link for the finless 1.6 rom and told me that would fix it.

well i went thru the steps to put it into flash mode on a windows xp pc the pc found it but not as a storage usb so when i start the flash tool program it still say's not found, i have been back and forth with the company that sold it to me and they said i needed to change some settings in the mk 808

where in settings is where i change the mass usb? and do i have to have a solid box in the debugging usb in developers, please help it's driving me crazy.

Ok, first you must push the reset button while you plug the usb wire to the otg port, Windows must sound with new hardware found. When it ask you from the driver you must indicate the path where you uncompress finless zip. Once the driver is installed the flash program must say rkdevice found in loader mode or something like that. Erase idb, and flash.
REMEMBER, YOUR FEEDBACK IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US.

I believe once you did the reset trick there is no need to reboot to flash as it is already on flash mode. You can start erasing the Nand and then flash the code.

I had a similar problem once. Your PC thinks it has the best driver. Try it with a different PC, an XP machine would be the friendliest. I would give that a shot before returning the unit.

already tried it on my daughters xp pc, and still no luck, i think it's bricked, i took it apart and put it in mask mode, the flash tool found it in mask mode, but when i tried to erase the nand it gave an error like other people have had, so i'm just going to send it back, the team at geekbuying have been great with me, they answered me back right away gave me advice and where to look for others to help me, but i guess i just got a bad device, and they told me to send it back to them and they will get a new one sent back.
so i will just have to wait about a week to get it, now when i do get it, should i just go ahead and flash the device with a new flash rom or just leave it alone?
