Finless 1.7 and home screen customization

    Finless 1.7 and home screen customization

    Hi Everyone,

    First of all, I would like add myself to the people who would eternally thank Bob for its huge work. I got my MK808 yesterday and today did all the flash to get a fresh 1.7c working
    I'm really happy about the ROM, but I have only one question.

    It may sound silly, but I didn't find a way to customize the home screen. I would like to add some widgets (weather, twitter, etc.) and substitute some of the existing icons.

    How should I do that?

    Tu must drag the from the app drawer to the home screen.
    If you want you can install any launcher from market, my favorites are Go launcher hd, Apex and Nova launchers. Test all and get the better for you. .

      Also to add widgets or change wall papers, you do a long left mouse click and hold it. You will get a pop up menu to change stuff.

        I'm using a Measy Air-Mouse fully working.
        Unfortunately, I can't drag apps from the Apps directory. If I keep left click on the home screen, nothing happens either What am I missing?

            You go into the APP drawer (where are APPs are listed). Left click on a icon and hold it. It will close the APP drawer and show you the home screen. While still holding the left click move the icon where you want and release.

              Once I keep the left click hold in one icon, the icon gets highlighted but nothing else happens. When I release the click (even after 20-30 secs) the app simply opens.
              Maybe it's something related to the mappings of my controller?

              I've tried also using a traditional USB mouse but nothing changes.

                I am having the same problem, i want to change/add apps to the "home screen" of the "Grid Launcher".
                Is this possible?
