5.1 using coaxial, HDMI or Toslink

    Hello,

any ideas how to get 5.1 sound using HDMI (or any device with coaxial or TOSLINK) to the 5.1 receiver.
Using XBMC, MX-Player or Vplayer one just gets 2.0.

Tried a HDMI 4x1 switch with toslink output.
Had problems with 1080 res, only 2.0 over toslink, and what's worse: The toslink muted, when the TV was off. So I have to keep the TV Set on just for hearing stereo web radio.....

I think that Minix is forcing Rockchip to accelerate hdmi pass-throw developement, for now i think there is no othe form to get it onli 2.0 sound output.

I'd love to see 5.1 over HDMI over any other feature as watching movies with 2 channel isn't that great.
