Wish List for Finless Bob 2.0 for MK808

As we all know our dearest developer Bob is working tirelessly on 2.0, why not make a wish list so that whatever he seems good he can just cherry pick from these ideas from this thread. Just post here what do you want to see in the new 2.0. I am listing a few which were added in 1.7a-c too. I will also update the first post time to time.

1) Xbox controller KL files
2) libstagefright patch
3) mouse zoom libinput.so
4) Kizs Kernel 4.1 (if possible)
5) CWM Recovery
6) Multi Users Support (so you can switch to another google account, good option if you have nosy GF/BF) LOL!
7) Volume and Media control function keys in Measy RC11 remote
8) Enable 2 hidden cores
9) Icons for "all programs" and "search" in the status bar.

4)&5) bob and the development team here always ask for permissions to add stuff that is out of this web. So i think that Bob release the new rom with the default kernel and recovery, we know its very easy install cwm or any custom kernel so pls lets download them and install them from their original links. If someone want to install a custom kernel, or cwm recovery we have here some tutorials of how to do that, and if you need some help installing them, we can try to help. All other stuff you ask i am sure that Bob will listen us and try to make the best for us.

Yes I always add this now.

I will try it but I hope it is compatible with any new GPU drivers 4.2.2 has. Lets hope so.

This will be harder than it sounds. Libinput.so is not the only thing. The setting for it has tobe added to settings and to the framework! So that will be a lot of digging in smali files to try and add into 4.2.2.

4) Kizs Kernel 4.1 (if possible)
I prefer to only give the stock kernel. This is because honestly for basic users anything else can be confusing. I can offer optinal kernels but Kizs would have to give me the OK to put it in my ROM kit as an option.

5) CWM Recovery
Again for general users I do not like to do this. Some have no clue what CWM is or how to use it. Once it is in there then after a ROM flash you get the CWM rather than it just formatting automatically and continuing on. So I am worried people will get all confused over this if they do not know what they are doing. So since CWM can be easily added, I just perfer to have it that way for people that do know what they are doing

That should be easy enough to do by modifying or adding a .kl file to support it. However to mod the file you have to know what the key codes are the Measy is sending!

I have a Measy U2C that probably has the KL file to support the RC11. I will look into it.

Did you set proper permissions on the KL file?

I use external keyboard helper pro, and nearly every multimedia button is working on my Logitech Mk250 wireless combo.
suspend turns the screen off, media player, email, etc. Even the most common key combinations (shift+cursor arrows for text select, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V).
And of course complete national layout support.

2.1 With USB sound card using C-Media CM106 chipset (should be independent of RK3066 capabilities)
2.2 Via HDMI (that depends on RK3066 hardware and support of Rockchip)
I would be totally fine with 2.1, but many other users requested 2.2, so I add it here for completeness, though it might not be possible due to RK3066 limitations.

3. Driver for real USB2.0 LAN adapters, i.e. HG20F9, see thread here:

4. Zoom-out function with wireless keyboard / air mouse for Google Earth

5. 1080p kernel option from Bob, without need to patch another kernel and lose some of Bobs ROM functionality (drivers). Maybe in cooperation with Kizs or Omegamoon, no need to invent the wheel anew, but I´d love to have a 1080p option with everything else running like in Bobs 720p ROM!

2.hdmi passthrough. Rockchip is working on that, pay attention at what I said, the rk3066 designer and maker, with all the sources and engineers are working on it. Lets be realistic, Bob is a great developer, but some things are far away from now.
And kernel related, I am sure that if Bob works on kernel he can do a lot, but in this moment he is working in give us a lot of custom roms for a lot of devices, each port has a lot of work.
In other side Omegamoon is working hard in the kernel, adding new functionalities like touch supports and the last thing I see on his github and blog, is a fix and more effective control of frequency. I hope he can fix WiFi in rk903.
I try to explain that some things have a lot of difficulty. But Bob and other developers are great, lets see what they got.

Hello,

I have a modified .kl file with works with the rc11,inkl. the funktion keys. I changed the button for hiding/enabling the status bar to f1 because the f11 is actually the volume down. This file has to be added extra, and propably works only with rc11, maybe rc12, so the generic.kl remains intakt.

I can share it tomorrow if you are interested.
