The Measy U4B seems to have identical specs to Tronsmart T428 (same Wifi/BT chip AP6330) so will the Tronsmart Rom work for that or do you need to send Bob a Measy as well?

            cx-919

I have the cx-919 and it is so much better than the mx1 I was using. Smooth as silk, video and wi-fi are big improvement. Be careful when ordering thru geekbuying though as they have the 1gb for $84 and 2gb is $79. I would confirm with them first that its not a pricing error

Thx for the info. I'm currently enjoying my mx2 right now but it is just a little laggy. Probably due to the fact that I prefer to run it in 1080p. I would assume that the quad core with 2 gigs of ram would clear that right up.

I have a few questions for you though.

-How are you finding the device stability on stock so far?
-Do you feel the antenna is making the difference in wifi signal improvements?
-I had compatibility issues with my Dlink Dir-655 router and had to run it in G to keep a quick reliable signal. Do you notice any such issues, and did you with your previous MX1?

very stable no freezes so far after a week of heavy use, Wi-Fi is stable no drops. The mx1 would drop at least once a day. I can't get over how much better video looks also. It seems compared to the mx1 the colors are so much more vivid and the picture seems sharper.

Quad Core Rockchip RK3188 vs Allwinner A31

The RK3188 performed better on some of the bench marks and tests while the A31 bests the RK3188 on the remainder of the test. The A31 seems to perform better on the file loading and app installation tests although the time differences are not huge. Results show that the PowerVR SGX544MP2 has superior core processing and 3D performance compared to the Mali-400 MP4.

Noone in this moment have all the devices, and noone test all of them, there is a lot of devices that are only in presell, and all the devices seems to have problems actually. And seems that those problems are the same in all devices, if you want to buy one, buy the one thats looks better for you.

Unfortunately it is just too early to tell. You'd be best to wait around for a couple of months and weigh the reviews of some of the presell sticks. If you just have to have a quad-core this very minute, then you are just going to be taking a chance and you have to be willing to deal with some bugs etc.

best so far for me cx-919

I have tried mx1, mk908, t428 and cx-919. I have a c868 a31 chip on its way to me also. Think I'm going to keep the cx-919 unless the c868 performs better.

I would say it all depends on the amount of effort you want to put in vs the amount of patience you have. These devices are in the sub $100 and turnover is reasonably quick. I'm only thinking of them as 3-6 month investments anyway, so all I do is find a couple models that sound appealing, wait until I have heard at least one person who has bought one, make my decision and buy.

The way I look at it is, if it's not to my taste, or there is a notably better device, I just order the new one and put my current one up for sale. It's rare that I don't get cost on it. Hell, the last one I sold for a $15 profit People are always willing to pay more for product in hand.

                              Why wait, buy now

I may have to do that with the quad core Sanei N10 I just bought. I find the Allwinner A31 chip a bit under powered but I got it because it sounded like it was more stable and better supported. In a few months when some of the issues with the quad cores get weeded out I'll take a look again and possibly upgrade. I just watch for the deals. The crazy sale price of $190 for the Sanei shipped to my door couldn't be passed up.
