Windows driver issue with the RK batch tool MK808IIIs

I'm having a heck of a time getting my windows 8 PC to make this batch tool recognize my device. First I had Mobiroo recognising it completely so I unistalled that incase there was some sort of conflict

Ive ripped the fins off the unit so I can actually see the button Im pressing and I'm managing to get the unit into upgrade mode, I'm just having an issue with the drivers ...

Most of the guides Ive read say you must have an understanding of windows drivers, well I thought I did until now... The only guides Ive seen that touch base on the driver situation use xp for an example I haven't seen anything for windows 7 or windows 8

Can someone help me out? How do you stop windows from installing their own drivers or how do you replace the installed drivers...

    Try that simple change.

Moroboro uses ADB drivers. That is not the same as the Rockchip flash tool drivers.
But these drivers have issues on some PCs unless you force USB 2.0 compliance. So this is one reason your PC does not see the device when in flash mode. Yes the device maybe in flash mode but for some reason new PC with USB 3.0 ports cant see it.

windows 7 and 8 are different so which are you using? I have installed on both and 7 was easy. So I will assume win 8, check this link

It will still threaten mass carnage and piss and moan about installing them, then you need to manually assign the drivers, the kicker is it has to be in the correct mode or it will say it's incompatible, I've become an expert at getting the mk808 in flash mode, my first one I think I stabbed too much and killed it. anyway make sure your connecting the usb OTG port to the pc, unplug the power from wall. push and hold reset button (of the two holes the one that does'nt have the light) make sure you hear the click, you can tell it's a button. Then plug it in count to 3 let it go, it should then detect as capable of using the drivers. (if the blue light is on before you let go of reset you did it wrong try again)

sorry if thats redundant from bobs link but thought I'd share.
