    So, I decided to connect trough hotspot. I instaled on my Samsung GT-S5560 "SVTP Hotspot". I connected without any problem with MK808 to Hotspot ; signal is "excellent" but I cannot access any web page ...
    Any ideea ? Thanks in advance !!!

      There is a lot of things you can do. try pings in terminal to the other devices attached to your network to see what is the problem ensure that proper gateway is configured, etc...
      But i bet for the hostpot apk problem, can you try to connect other device to this hotspot and see if it works?

          Its hard to tell in the pics, but is the signal bar in blue or does it stay grey? If its staying grey you might need to resolder your antennas. I had that happen once when one of my GND solder points came off / had a bad connection. It would pull an IP but never actually get me anywhere.

              Do you have access management turned on? You may have to "allow" your devices on the hotspot

                  What kind of hotspot are you using? Is it your Samsung phone that you are using for the hotspot? Are you using a stock built in hotspot or WiFi Tether?

                  With WiFi Tether, open the app and then press the "menu" button and you should see "access control". Tap that to see if its enabled or not. If so make sure you have a checkbox next to the clients trying to connect and that should fix it.

                  If you are using the Samsung built in phone tether it should be under under something like
                  Settings->WiFi->
                  or
                  Settings->Hotspot->Allowed Devices

                  EDIT: Also for WiFi Tether you need to be rooted and make sure it is configured for you phone. I would recommend looking up the proper settings on XDA-Developers for you phone if you are needing help with the profile.

                    I tried with all my hardware ....Tablet Pipo S1, Samsung Galaxy Gio, Samsung Galaxy Mini, MK808...I cannot connected one to another using hotspot ( "native" or apk from Market (Wifi tethering, Pdanet, Open garden) ; despite "connected" with "excellent signal", I cant access any web page ...
                    So... I think is a problem with my router ?!? Each one can connect fine to router and I have full access to web ; but no access trough hotspot ...

                      Well if each device can connect to router and access the internet that way, your router sounds fine.

                      If you cannot connect a device through the hotspot then it is one of the devices either the host or client settings.

                      To be clear though, If using your phone as a "hotspot" to share data with say your MK808, is your phone on WiFi or are you trying to share your phones 3G/4G data plan?

                      Because the way you make it sound is, all of your devices can connect to your wireless router and receive signal and internet with no problems.

                      If one of your devices is connected to your Cell Data Plan through a "hotspot" you get no internet. Witch if this is the case makes me think that you do not have the "hotspot data plan" on your cell contract. At least thats what we have to do in the U.S. Thats the point of the hacked hotspot though to get around it.

                        I think I understand wrong what hotspot is in fact ...So I cannot use any of my devices as " wifi repeater" ...I though I can use my Samsung phone (since have much better wifi reception) as wifi "provider" for MK 808 ....BUT...it' s impossible, huh ?
                        Thank You so much for great advices ! Regards !

                          Say you have a Samsung GSIII and you have 4G signal on it. You would use the "hotspot" to share your GSIII's internet connection to the cell towers with another device. Your GSIII would act as a modem/WiFi router combo.

                          If you already have a WiFi router in the house there is no need for the hotspot unless, say you are at a friends or a place that doesnt have WiFi. Then you would share your phones internet connection with your MK808 by using the hotspot feature on the phone.
