MK808B: any way to reduce the screen brightness?

    Hi all.

Just got my MK808B and slapped Finless 1.7 on it immediately after booting up to see that it wasn't a DOA. All running fairly happily on it so far, possibly the biggest issue so far is Dead Trigger crash when used with wired Xbox controller.
Had a few moments of worry when there was no output from the unit after the flash but it turned out it was the dodgy HDMI lead that came in the box.

Got one problem I could use some help with though; is there anyway to turn the brightness down on the output from the MK808B?
It's eye-searing on my TV which has been tuned for my TV receiver and PS3. I'd rather not have to readjust the TV's setting each time I swap sources.
I've tried a few apps from the Play store that purports to change brightness but I guess they're for mobile devices as they made no difference to the MK808B.

    Cheers!

Just found a better app that also lets you adjust contrast which helps a lot with white text - Screen Adjuster

I have tried that app too, there is bug in this app that you cannot install apps when this app is in use. I haven't recently used it, may be the developer has fixed that issue, but because of that bug I switched.

There does seem to be a problem with clicking the installation confirmation with the on-screen cursor.
However, my mini keyboard has a direction pad and that has no problems highlighting the button for activation.

Overall, a much better viewing experience.
