Just received a new shipment of B13-s. Switched them on and all have 4.2.2 on them

Checked the A/V out and it is working. Antutu score was 7493. In "sound output devices" there is 3 options including 5.1 multichannel. Do not know if it is actually working since I have nothing to test it on.

So the official rom must be out. Do not know where to download it from though. Will ask the supplier maybe he knows.

Finless rom comes fully rooted, so just install it on your stick. Link is on the thirst page, post 11 by Finless. Instructions are in README FIRST.TXT.
i have bricked one of the sticks with finless rom so that's why i dont want to flash it (different bootloader probably) and the stick now even couldn't go into recovery / flashing mode

i will try to replace those files provided by leolas for xbmc HW decoding
hopefully i can first root it

any usb hub support with Finless 1.7 beta?

i have immediatelly installed the XBMC libstagefright build and noticed that hardware decoding doesnt work with HD(720p and 1080p)
what do i need to update so xbmc should play at least play 720p good
do i need to update the libstagefright lib and how can i do that
i have found CWM flashable zip that includes couple of files
if i replace them from here will it be a success story ?

I still hope he will make a rom.

Or Finles/Bob making a Finless 2.0 or something...but having lost his father (I know that feeling, mine died a couple weeks ago...cancer) and lots of the new quad devices around i doubt it...so sad

    antutu score

i have asked the MK812 makers a question why is the score so different in android 4.1 vs 4.2 and they have said that the CPU is overclocked in 4.2
"V4.1.1 firmware has lower Antutu score, because it has not over clocking on CPU performance"

but then again from their picture i see that the CPU works at 1600mhz

does that means i can use 4.1.1 and overclock the cpu somehow
can someone confirm on what frequency does the 4.1 works and on what 4.2

    thanks

use Rockchip v1.7 USB software windows 7 64 bit, also standard USB cable

The micro (DC) port (as you describe it).

As Nascimento points out in this thread, you must use a STANDARD USB cable from the little side micro-USB port to your Windows PC USB port. The brain-damaged cable that comes with the B13 mini-PC only serves to carry power to the miniPC, it is not also usable for data transfer the way a standard cable is useful.

How awful the amount of time I wasted trying to get the v1.5 and v1.6 Rockchip USB software to install on my 64-bit Windows 7 system. All that was needed was to use VERSION 1.7 of the Rockchip USB software,
    www.freak-tab.de/freaktab/Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.7.rar
and it worked perfectly and immediately. Oh yes and I also booted my Windows PC with the F8 boot option, to not check for driver signatures.
