Stuck on boot screen don't want to install from new- any shortcuts?

Have you cwm installed? If yes you can try to wipe cache and dalvik cache, some times it works.

Could not wait for answers -yes I have cwm installed so I used cwm and did a clean install-wiped user data first by using cwm and then installed finless 7.zip(using cwm) and all went well however when I reinstalled xbmc it seemed to remember old installation data & addons don't work properly even after reinstalling --maybe I should have wiped cache and dalvick cache ?? What do u suggest?

To xbcm clean installation i suggest go to settings,aplications, select xbcm and clean data of this application.

I did that and reinstalled xmbc but still have old addons which do not work properly- will try new installation again this evening
