I wasn't sure my question would be answered over at heiress. I own a mini for and after each crash I need to reset the canopy. A major crash will dislodge the landing gear/battery and canopy. The lower Front landing gear struts are where the canopy locks onto. Walkera cut a little squares into the canopy for this reason . My question is,is it safer to let the heli's gear/battery/ canopy fall off in a crash? or lock them down? Or does locking them down add more weight to the force of the impact? I am sorry to post this here, I posted on rcgroups and people started to turn the question into heavy 450's. Of course you want to have the battery locked down on a 450 heli's , thank you in advance!
