Hello MTK users....
I have a Cube Talk 9X U65GT MTK6592 MT8392 32g V2.0 20150114 1450xxxxxx
Rooted/Chinese removal with system boot/recovery on; fairly ezy. All I'd like now is to partion space (10-16gs).
I have tried the spflashtool. This will not find my device. The tab always recharges when hooked up to pc when tab power is off. PC only sees tab when tab is turned (power) on. I've updated the drivers and all. Any ideas to flash? Checked all system settings. Tab only charge mode when power off. PC does not locate/ find. Am I missing something?

Does this mean that I can system boot/recovery on tab this zip file after renaming it update?
Then format, reinstall all backups all from the tab?

Edit: power on connected to PC; android ask what type of device ie. storage, phone, media, charge mode. Also an android permission window to allow connection between tablet/PC.
Power off these must default to charge only mode. Any thoughts.....my stock ROM?

What I did - I enabled USB debugging in the development option tab under the settings....
Then I can MTK discover the device but ony when it is powered on normally....
I'm little bit worried to go forward even when rooted as I don't want this device to be transformed into the "brick" if something goes wrong.... And yes all I want is to repartition device...

I already had/USB debugging enabled. I getting to believe that because of the 2 andriod windows described above has something to do with my/our problem. It's NOT just connect tab to PC. Two other steps need to be completed before PC/tab hookup!

I retried again. I did a total data/cashe and a factory reset. I still do not get the red bar on SPflashTool. It can not even find my tab/phone. The tab/phone in about 1 min shows battery charging.

I get 2 windows on tablet. 1) Android USB mass storage. This window allows to connect or disconnect tab to PC. 2) USB computer connection. This window there is 5 choices; 1) USB storage 2) Media device(MTP) 3) Camera (PTP) 4) Charge only 5) Built-in CD-ROM.

I did it!!!! increased to 16gs I had to uninstall drivers then reinstall correct drivers...I found this info in the STICKY section in MTK tablets.
