BUT maybe you can only use ONE device at the same time because of possible MAC address conflict at the network....

As I wrote, I don't know any serial at any kind of these devices (I also don't know that a serial number will be transmit/transfer/broadcast by lan (tcp)... that's the only kind of a """"serial number""" I know http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DNS_zone_transfer and only managed by the DNS... the MAC is like the serial number at LAN)...
A "serial number" would only be possible if you have to use an explicit app at android to connect to this lan and than it's maybe the IMIE (but not exist at e.g. a PC)...
