Easiest way is probably to use the Hybrid firmware.

Then all you would need to do is rename it custom.ko and place it in the sd root.
      Currently Using:
2 x Nvidia Shield TV | MiniMX III
      Retired Devices:
      MiniMX III-II | Mk808b Pro | Mk808b Plus | Raspberry Pi 1 + 2 | UBOX R89 | MK808 | MK808b | CS008 | X1 4K (rk3288_809) | CYX_809III | Ouya | CX-919 | S82 Plus | Tronstmart R68

Ok i will try to explain it to you.
-Unzip the file and copy it to the root of your sdcard
-Download es file explorer and mark in administration tools/rw permission/ RW in system. and let it open and swich home.
          -Download terminal emulator and run:
          Code:
          su
          cp /sdcard/axis.ko /system/lib/modules/
          chmod 644 /system/lib/modules/axis.ko
          insmod /system/lib/modules/axis.ko
If there is not error messages now you can activate ethernet in your device and see if it works.
If you get a error message write:
          Code:
          lsmod >/sdcard/lsmod.txt
          dmesg>/sdcard/dmesg.txt
Now in your sdcard you must have 2 files dmesg.txt and lsmod.txt give them to me.
REMEMBER, YOUR FEEDBACK IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US.
