    MK808 Monitor/TV support?

Do these sticks support touch screens? I was thinking about using my 808 as an in-dash media device for my car. If I was to buy a 7" touchscreen that had HDMI or DVI would the stick respond to touch? Are those features of Android still in these or have they been removed?

I think these would be a great alternative to an expensive CD/DVD player, and I could use WiFi Tether to my phone for internet and navigation.

Yes and no, you need a Touchscreen with DriverĀ“s for Android.
Then you can use it like you want.

How hard would that be to implement? I would think that not many 7" double-din in-dash screens have drivers for Android. Then again, isn't it more about chipsets, than drivers with Linux/Android?

If I can find one that will work, I am definitely going to replace my car stereo with my Android stick.

There is a Driver for Doing it like you want, you can buy the Screen and Test if it Work.
When the Touchscreen works like a "Mouse" there should be no Problem.
Please tell what you want to buy.

I was thinking along the lines of something like this and tucking the 808 behind it. I'm not completely sure yet on how to do it just because I'm still in early planning stages and want to know if it would be possible as a replacement for a car stereo / bluetooth dialer.

I have a Tronsmart T428 on the way and if this can work the way I want it to, I may use that for the project instead. I would like it to perform really well, and a quad-core with 2GB of memory would really help.

I am up for any suggestions on a good screen if you have any. I just looked that one up real quick. I didn't see that it was a resitive. I would like to stay away from that junk. If I can I would like to find a true 720p screen if possible.

Let me ask why not buy a RK3066 Tablet like the D70PROII from ICOO and Build this in your Car ?
But i will keep on looking for a Screen.

I have to buy a special dash kit for my car because the stereo is part of the AC vents so I dont have much room to play with. I would like to look as stock as possible.

EDIT: I didnt mean I want the screen to look stock. Just the way its put in. I like everything looking flush and like it was ment to be there.
