    Have a look at this HOWTO on YouTube...The ideas should be nearly the same... Your Files (Firmware /u-boot.bin), will be different though. But if you follow this it should get you your Boot Card.

      Nice easy to understand guide Ichijoe,thanks.Followed the procedure exactly as the fellow in the video said,using the u-boot you provided and with two different S805 firmwares.Alas ,same black screen.Im beginning to think the box is unfixable.Must have tried fifty times at this stage.

        Well lads,ive tried everything suggested by the very helpful posters on this thread twice.
        Same shitty black screen.

          On the off chance that the HDMI isn't some how doing what its supposed to... Have you tried connecting the Analog AV up?
          I suspect that it could be that the BOX is currently in such a state where the HDMI can't work, and will only work in SD (Analog Mode), until you're able to get the *cough* Desktop *cough*, and get to the options where you can then set it to output 720p/1080i/1080p/2160p (4K), again. After which I believe you'll find that the HDMI to be working again.
