What you are seeing is normal behaviour for Android.
Why do you Want to turn off the swap file? This is needed for speedy operations.
The command is working fine in your screenshot. First shot shows 512000 as size, and second shows 0 as size. You turned off the swap file. But why?

Everything is normal. No reason to get exited. Do not turn off the swapfile, it's swapping on ram.

The reason you see the unallocated / defined screen for one second, is that Android is calculating the useage of data by apps, video, pics etc. and then applying the color bar to it.
In both screens it shows you have 3.97GB free, which is correct. The internal storage is also used by the android OS and takes up some space. It is normal, and you will not have the entire 8GB to play around with.

It is possible to damage sh1t when you play around in the command line with commands you do not understand. Be carefull and do not do things you are not 101% sure of what they do.

NEWSFLASH This just in.... That "missing" 2.66GB's of Storage? Its your Android OS! Or did you think that they held this on its own Storage?
And, before you even go there... EVERYONE DOES THIS, even Apple! Your Device has exactly 8GBs of storage, by proxy of having exactly 5.34GB Free....
