Even if it is development build release, we would like to share some news and improvements that we have done in past period on WeTek OS for WeTek Play, where major work was done on WeTek Theater application.

What is new:

1. Redesigned WeTek Theater (DVB Player)
2. Fixed support for DISEqC 1.2 and USALS
3. Added support for multi-bouquets inside of WeTek Theater
4. Added support for Picons for DVB-S/C/T/T2 (Picons location in /mnt/shell/emulated/0/picons )
5. Fixed all known bug's in WeTek Theater
6. Another fixes inside Android 4.2.2
7. Easy Channel list access aka Neutrino style with < > buttons on RCU
8. Audio and subtitle menu when watching Live TV is located on * key on RCU
9. Added channel list compatibility for DreamSet Editor
10. Improved WeTek Theater Infobar with information about Video, Audio, Resolution, Aspect Ratio and Subtitles info.
11. Many improvements non stated in this release log as it is Development build.

How to install WeTek Development build on WeTek Play?

1. Download WeTek Android - Update - 17.04.2015.zip file

2. Extract archive, and inside you will find 3 files.

3. Copy 3 files to microSD card

4. Turn off WeTek Play and insert microSD in microSD reader

5. Use WeTek Play Pin tool to press UPGRADE button which is located on bottom of device

6. While You keep pressed UPGRADE button insert Power cable in WeTek Play

7. Keep UPGRADE button pressed for 7 seconds and release it

8. Installation of new Development build will start.

- Additional improvements on dvb.db compatibility with DreamSet Editor Beta 7 version
- Visual changes in WeTek Theater - DVB Player application
- Fixed import of Enigma 2 settings and conversion to WeTek dvb.db format, please use DreamSet Editor Beta 7 version

How to update WeTek Play manually:

2. Download WeTek OS Development build 02.05.2015
   
3. Unpack .zip archive and copy 3 files: DB-J566-wetek-ota-2015-05-01_19-46-32.zip , factory_update_param.aml and recovery.img to FAT 32 formatted microSD card
   
4. Turn off WeTek Play, insert microSD card in WeTek Play, on bottom of device with WeTek Play needle tool press UPGRADE button and turn of WeTek Play while keep pressed UPGRADE button for next 7 seconds.
   
5. Release UPGRADE button and wait update prodcedure to finish updating of WeTek Play

WeTek OS - Development build 26.05.2015

What is new:

- Fixed Diseqc 1.2

- Fixed and optimized channel list loading time from DreamSet Editor

- Fixed and Added support for taking Screenshots of GUI and VIDEO (Video screenshot saved to /tmp , GUI screenshots saved to location /mnt/shell/emulated/0/Pictures/Screenshots ). To take Screenshot press <- button located neear 0 (zero) button.

- Fixed and improved overall stability in WeTek Theater

- Added Russian language

- Added Turkish language

Still no sound on HD channels with this Development build 26.05.2015

Same results reported here after OTA update of WeTek OS 1.1.4 http://wetekforums.com/vb5/forum/wet...wetek-os-1-1-4

The only Android rom I can get sound on HD channels is Here on post 56 http://wetekforums.com/vb5/forum/wet...channels/page6

Did you spoke with support about that issue you're having?

Could it be a faulty tuner/box

Did you tried any IPTV with HD Content to see if the sound is missing?

if i update my wetek with Development build 26.05.2015 , will this do factory reset ? will all my DVB S-2 SETTINGS GET WIPED ?

if you select that option yes


Download the zip file, go to we.update

after selecting the zip, wetek is going to ask you if you want to wipe data

don't select these options
