first. i know this is the wrong thread (i think) and sorry for my English.

so the problem i had is with this android tv box.
from the beginning the box works not good.... apps are closing automatically after starting... the box freezes and shut down.... go into a bootloop... and so on and on and on......

so what can i do... what custom firmware can i take to make this box usually??

the chip inside of the box it says rk616

I have no idea about which chip you talk if you say rk616 but it's definitely not the SoC/CPU... also the picture is too small to identify the information printed on the pcb/motherboard which will be need to find out IF another rom exists and if yes, which one...
Anyway, your problems are maybe because of a bad psu, do you have another one with 5V and maybe 3A which you can try at the box?

Hey. now i know that the device its a cs918 v7 with 2gb ram....and with the Power.... i will try it.. hope this will solve the problem with the apps....

i allready testet the firmware from post 1 in this thread but its the same FW that is on this device......in post 13 there is a other but with these the device dont work.

Ich denke mal du Sprichst Deutsch :-)
Also von deiner Box gibt es viele mit verschiedenen Mainboards.
Wichtig wäre eine größere Aufnahme von dem Mainboard um dir zu Helfen.

No, they are too small (maybe you attached them at the wrong way?)...
There must be a printed information AT the pcb which you need to have to find a stock rom...

I have testet a bit.... and by the way the only rom thet works is in this thread from post 1 ---NEW CS918 2015 STOCK ROM FOR NEW PCB-- all other roms kill my device so i can not boot or something......but now i have the problem thet i have only 1 gb ram..... befor i flash the FW i have 2gb..... i know it is defently a cs981 v7 device.....BUT here are new Pics WHY ARE THE PICS SO SMAL WHEN I UPLOAD so... the ram problem is solved...

how I say... its a cs918 v7.0

this is a great device but 5-10 times on day this thing reboots sometimes it ends in a bootloop....

i think there must be a 4.2.2 firmware

so... i try the fw from post 1...but there i have the same problem with reboots and app closing and i inly have 1gb of ram...... with the fw from post 13 the same results but i got my 2gb of ram back..... and also i must use the recovery from post 1........and after the reboots i must format the internal memory card..... so i think without a rom (i don't know where to find) i can only use the device a few minutes a day.......

so anyone got a idea?
