MK808B-Plus - Best rom/firmware only to Kodi

I bought this unit to my parents. The only use they need is to Kodi.

So I wonder what is the best rom / firmware to apply the device.

iptv, movies and nothing else.
Yes, I had already thought of openelec, but wanted to make sure if it was the best option.
With the [ROM] Unofficial OpenELEC 5.0.3 is MK808B Plus, there are no problems seeing movies at 1080p?

OpenELEC works well on my MK808B+, very easy to install and test.

Hi guys.. will be having my mk808b+ in a few days after gettinng fed up with mx3 problems with Openelec.. seems to be a few diff boxes around and they don't all seem to take Openelec well at all... My question is.. how do I add Openelec to the plus ? Is it just download the 3 filed to sd card.. insert card and use the toothpick method and that's it.. ot will flash the mk plus with Openelec ?
