    pipo x7 usb pinout?

I have been trying to add internal usb to my x7 to add a hub inside, does anyone know the pinout to the usb connection inside the pipo, the USB is the one in the middle(6 pins J1) since the usb stays active when the right and left connectors are removed.

also wondering if the unused one on the right(J7) is a usb also, anyone know. I sent pipo an email but they did not understand.

So I checked with my multimeter and it looks like

    Pin..Name.......Port
    1.....5V..............Both Ports
    2.....Data -......Port 1
    3.....Data + ......Port 1
    4.....Data-.......Port 2
    5.....Data +.......Port 2
    6.....Ground....Both Ports

also not sure if that extra connector is usb since the hub on the x7 only has 4 downstreams.

noticed i mixed up the data pins so I corrected the post above.

finally had time to try it and it worked, added an internal hub to add 3 extra usb ports inside so I can have my wifi adapter wired inside with the pipo's antenna connected to it finally, got poor range before that and the pipo's wifi was spotty for me, along with an 128gb usb stick and my remote dongle. I really wish the pipo had usb 3 but oh well.

and yes thats duck tape, need to buy some more electical later.

That's pretty cool, but are your front usb ports now disabled?

It looks like you didn't used the unused connector but hijacked the existing connector?

Should be correct its working fine for me, and the front 2 usb ports are still working because they are wired to hub.

when I get home later I will do a paint drawing or something to show a diagram or something.

added a picture to show how I am wiring mine

there are other ways but this is how I did mine.

and if anyone has any info on that unknown unsoldered connector is can u let us all know, I checked it and all I can find out is that pin 1 and 5 on it are grounds, theres no 5v on 1 2 and 3 though it seems(hope I'm wrong though) so I have no clue what it is(maybe its for a headphone jack or somethin?)
