Is there an app for that? read there is but I can't find anyone giving the name of the app

DroidMote Server for your TV Stick and DroidMote Client for your phone. (I never tested it on this stick though)
Or the official "Android TV Remote Control" app from google, but i read this one stops working after some time.

I cant find android tv remote control on google play. I not too willing installing droud server on my device..it is already struggling with ttorrent, samba share, paragon ntfs

Hi,

you can try "Google TV Remote". I use the APK from Minix: http://minix.com.hk/downfile/Google_TV_Remote.apk

An alternative is "RemoteIME". I used the one from here: http://www.everbesthk.com/8-download.../remoteime.htm

EDIT: Remeber to activate the remote control in the settings.
