Bricked MXQ Box, need help !

Hi, friend of me bought the MXQ box from Geekbuying, in stead of flashing the correct openelec version for his box, he flashed the version for the M8 to the box.

The box now doesnt work anymore, blue light goes on and thats it, the box wont go into Recovery mode and i cannot get it connected to a computer with the "RESET" switch inside the AV connector on a OTG or A -> A USB Cable

I Tried everything to get it recoverd but no go, any idea's to get it recovered ?

things i tried :

Create an SD Card, with u-boot.bin file to make it boot from SD and recover original stock rom -> No Luck
Create an SD Card with some file someone created to make it boot from SD -> No Luck

Tried all kinds of stuff to get the box in recovery mode, but no go

I'm a bit of a newbie with GoogleTV devices, but if its an AMLogic based box, you can try the AMLogic Windows USB flashing tools, but you'll need to find an *.img file for your MXQ ROM instead of the normal *.zip file used for recovery.
