    PIPO M9 MAX - Inverted/Reversed Y Axis

    Hi!!!

I found out that several people have the same problem that i have but can't get a solution.
I have a PIPO M9 MAX (not PRO) that went to repair(TecnoSpain) and now i upgrade to RileyROM 2.6 KitKat but the touchscreen as Y Axis invert/reverted (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPTVJyt99dk).
I try to install stock rom and others but the result is the same.

Can anyone help me please? How can i get this ROM to work?

Thank you in advance for everything

Yes, this is a common problem with M9 Max users...as well as for other tablets that have been refurbished or sent back for repair. The problem is caused by a change in the hardware of the touch panel. The replacements aren't EXACTLY the same as the stock parts. Somehow, the person doing the refurb can adjust the firmware to accommodate this hardware change. But, if you flash a new ROM the fix is lost...forever.

This has been a headache in our ability to create custom kernels for these tablets, because results vary...depending on if the tablet is stock original, or refurbished.

D33 is one of our Pipo kernel developers and has been working with some M7 Pro users with different touch panels. With a little experimentation, it is possible to turn your touch panel to the correct axis.

D33's time is very limited, but if anyone can fix your problem...he can.

BY THE WAY....If anyone HAS a refurbished Pipo tablet that you wish to upgrade to a RileyROM or one of our Freaktab Team ROM's....be sure to dump your firmware BEFORE flashing the custom ROM. Each RileyROM kit contains a tool with instructions on how to do this. That way, if you encounter this problem...we will have a working firmware to work with that will fix axis deviation....or we can possibly find out what they have done to fix it internally and duplicate it.

I have bought a damaged m9max and will, when I get chance, get it working and produce a working kernel. The problem is .... time! I'm a director of a 180,000 employee organization, I commute to Sweden weekly (from the UK) and I'm trying to get my family home built.

Time is not something I have a lot to spare.

Rest assured that when I do find time I will be prioritizing the m9 Max and M6 Pro.

For those with a need for a Touchscreen variant please test out the kernel in th m9 max thread. Once that is working correctly I'll produce x/y variants
