with FULL HD 1080p.
At first I thought it was my monitor, then after lots of reading I came to find out these TV sticks typically require scaling to get to 1080p. What that means to me is that unless I scale my 24" monitor a lot I have really fuzzy everything. Antutu says I am at 720 even when set to 1080p.
Opened it up and the main chip is blacked out, but ran Antutu and it was a stable 1.6 with quad cores so I think that is good. The wifi chip is the RTL8723bs and it came running 4.4.2 - rk31sdk-eng 4.4.2 KOT49H eng.ubuntu.20141216.160843
So I really just want this thing a little crisper and clearer. If that is not easily possible maybe somebody can point me to a stick that would be easy or stock at 1080p. This is going on either a 22 or 24" 1080p monitor mounted to the wall in my garage with the intention of running Torque and youtube videos/repair manuals for my motorcycles and cars. I might use it to stream audio to my stereo system, but mostly just looking for decent quality video on youtube.
