Use with battery

Hi, can someone tell me if I can use Pipo x7 with some sort of external battery like this or some other type:

Basically I would say yes, but this

Output voltage: 10.8~12.6DC
Output current:1-2A

isn't really stable...

It's like an UPS (uninterruptible power supply).
