Bricked my MK808b???

Was installing the latest Hybryd ROM

install:

1. -unpack arhive (anywhere)
2. -start RKBatchTool.exe
3. -put mk808 into flash mode (pres hiden buton and conect mk808 to pc, use usb otg port)
4. -instal proper drivers when windows ask (drivers are in \Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.5\Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.5 \RockusbDriver)
5. -when you wil see number 1 in green box selec "..." button in right top corner of RKBatchTool
6. -navigate to MK808 Hybryd FW V2.1.2.img
7. -pres restore button in RKBatchTool

Got to 4 and noticed it didnt ask for any drivers. I assumed because my laptop already had the drivers installed when doing the finless bob rom on my other MK808 they were already installed.

So on 5 and its green in box 1 ...... do 6 but at 7 i accidentally press "upgrade" .... (i happened to be watching the geekbuying guide at that point who clicked on that one) .......... it then runs for a few mins and it says success.

Reboot i.e. pull out usb power cable and then reconnect. Sit watching screen for 5 then 10 min ..... just a blank screen.

What now ? I tried doing the process again and not getting any where keeps coming up with errors and now looks for drivers but will not load them?

Any help please ?

Not sure, as I haven't had this issue, but the install process from Finless 1.7 uses a different upload tool.
Can you download that one and try it first?

Thankfully I can reload the finless ROM. No matter what I do I cant get the hybryd one on. I suspect its the drivers as when I start the process it should ask me for drivers but given the stick has already got the drivers from the finless when i did that first it never asks me for anything else. I can only assume thats the reason?

Now you have it up and running again it might be better to continue in the hybrid thread. Lewy and some others will help you out. Also mention your OS etc and btw on my laptop I have to use the USB2.0 ports and not the USB3.0 ports to flash.

will do. How do you check which USB it is ? ..... so do different roms work or not depending on the USB ? finless works everytime without a problem but levy just craps out on me.
