Is possible any dvb-s with Beelink S82/M8

I want to watch HD satellite channels. TV boxtin to amlinux installed. I can install the android again, or i can install it on something else you suggest. What I want to ask; Can I use the _ HD satellite card? Like SkyStar 2 HD as USB. I want to convert an HD satellite receiver my Beelink S82. I'm tired of using separate boxes. Is android support of satellite card? or amlinux? or anything you can suggest. I think and want to run on KODI. I have not seen any mention of support for android . maybe for amlinux. I have not tried yet. I think going openelec on this box. maybe with openelec. Please do not advise on devices with DVB-S. My purpose, I use the my box. I want to learn your recommend and idea. Thank you.

I suspect that the problem might be whether the S82 has any V4L Divers installed on them or not.
Unfortunately XBMC / Kodi does NOT allow you to install such Drivers, only the so-called Backend's needed to actually run it over XBMC / Kodi.
Your best option here is to run TVHeadend on a Server, that has the Skystar2 USB, already in use.

If your like me, and would consider this wasteful, the I guess your only other option would be to abandon Android altogether, and use (Linux), OpenELEC, where TVHeadend automatically, comes with it.
Though you'll still have to set this up. I gather that it should be way more straight forward then when I tried to patch in my DVB-C > IPTV Box this way, by proxy of having the Hardware (In this case a USB Dongle), connected directly, to the Device. But, if you never used TVHeadend before it would be a good idea to try and, learn as much about it before hand.

Otherwise I use an DVB-C > IPTV, and the IPTV Simple Client. The ONLY downside, here is that the EPGs which are otherwise sent, to places like VLC (PC), and its own Android App. The IPTV Simple Client can only use XMLTV Guides. Which are somewhat harder to find, and use, since they killed it recently. It also didn't help that this DVB-C > IP isn't fully EN50585:2014 complaint, yet? Perhaps a newer Firmware will fix this.

But, such as that is it is working very well under Android.

      namely
      1. openelec working on S82.
      2. external HD USB DVB-S satellite card, is working on openelec.
      3. openelec you recommend in terms of ease of use.
      4. No need to install openelec for DVB-T. Android enough to install add-on XBMC.
Do you want to tell them?
I will use for DVB-S, I think the best option openelec. TVHeadend what exactly? Can I use the DVB-S for? Or is it just string ip TV? I do not deal with the DVB-C and DVB-T and IPTV. Only DVB-S
Thank you for your answers and tolerate my poor english.

OpenELEC is a different OS to Android, installing this to your M8, would mean having to give up Android, and all of its *.apk's
Does it work on the S82? yes

USB Tuners should in theory work, as long as you can get them to show up in TVHeadend

Think of TVHeadend as being the Backend (Sever), and XBMC / Kodi as the Frontend (Client)... You'll need to have both!

You need to log into the Device running OpenELEC, and get to the TVHeadend Server. There you can setup your USB DVB-S2 Tuner(s).
After which you'll need to enable the TVHeadend PVR Addon from within XBMC / Kodi itself.*

*Note I haven't the slightest Idea how to do that Best answer is to either search TVHeadend on Google... Or, ask someone who's been able to deal with it.
I gather that it should be relatively simple to deal with USB Sticks... My problem was getting it to see my SAT>IP Device.. So as to get the streaming EPGs.
Since the Simple IPTV Addon (A close relation to your TVHeadend Addon), can neither record, or see any EGPs. Sans XMLTV Files that is.

Gee, and I thought my Fritz Related DVB-C was pricy!
But, OP wants DVB-S2 (Satellite), and NOT Cable. To be fair I only saw DVB-T & C on offer there. And all things given I'm just as happy with my Fritz.Repeater DVB-C.
