Just wondering what is happening on my x7s? Didn't think it would overheat in Android mode.

Your box obviously thinks it is a tablet (I'd imagine the Android software is just a hack from a Pipo tablet) and is set to throttle when a certain temperature is released. I own a cheap Chinese Baytrail tablet (Teclast) which apparently gives the same error message when it gets too hot if you are playing lots of games.
Have you modded your X7S with heatsinks? This is easy to do and should drop temperatures a good level. Big thread here on this forum which you should take a look at if you haven't already.
