I have a M8 box only, which I bought, not conned from others to scam money reselling others ROMs in disgraceful con jobs, and:

* Kodi works well on my M8
* Not a con job rebadge of another package

TVMC for Android 13.2

They just emailed all forum members. Haven't tried it yet but looks like it's a killer of all XBMC addon packages be they free and honourable like SPMC or the shadier milking operations, repackaging and selling others' free offerings. Considering who is behind it, that is. I'll try it tomorrow, have a go:

just installed this gotham 13.3, does not affect my kodi.


on video play screen click picture-reel icon (next to audio icon ): change view mode from NORMAL to STRETCH 16:9
Picture gets cropped, fix:
system: settings: bottom of left column, change from BASIC to EXPERT LEVEL
Then in:
system: settings: Video
choose in left menu: Acceleration
then switch off: Allow hardware acceleration (amcodec)
(leave accelerators libstagefright & mediacodec: ON)
Should have full screen 16:9

just tried a couple of other skins too. good fun package for noobs, genesis phoenix 1ch etc.
in video addons, bottom, click GET MORE..., install others like Yify etc.

my latest Kodi 14.2 helix is far superior with 20+ hot repos and nearly 200 addons some exotic , the tvmc's a good little toy tho sp. if you're not familiar with video addons. hopefully they'll do a kodi (14.xx) version package for new folk too.

now can anyone tell me the exact difference between xbmc and kodi, i know that kodi support more channels than xbmc

Kodi is just the new name for xbmc. It is always progressing and adding new things but it is basically the exact same software.
