    display at 60p

    Hi,

My PIPO X7 is connected to a new Samsung full HD screen through HDMI.
When the refresh rate is set to 50p / 60p the display gets corrupted (blurring and dotted)
Only when I set it to 50i or 60i it gets stable.

Is this a known issue or something is wrong my specific device ? Any idea how to fix this issue ?

    Thanks

It was my first move (my second was to change cable) - both didnt solve the issue

For a start, you should look at the refresh rates supported by your screen. I was surprised to see that mine didn't have support for some refresh rates and like yours I had to set them to 60i. I am using MPC-HC and had to alter options->playback->full screen to match the refresh rates.

Its a 1 year old Samsung screen (I'll update the model number later on when I'll be next to it).
I have also a payed cable box and it is set to 60p -working fine.

The best way to see what's supported is right click on desktop->Personalize->Display->Change Display Settings->Advanced Settings->List All Modes

The 60p option is presented under the 'List All Modes'
but still the display is corrupted
Does it mean that something is wrong with the graphics card ?

Maybe if you can test it in another TV with 60p too...

I have a problem with my Pipo and my Samsung Tv too....

When I connect it, the audio and video are not synchronized.... that happens in youtube, local videos, online videos.......

To solve this I have to do this:

1- When I connect everything the refresh is set in 60p
2- I have to change the refresh to 59p for example and accept
3- After that, I change again the refresh to 60p and I accept

Now, the audio and video are synchronized.

Does anyone know why is the reason for this??? I don't know what is the problem, because I use the same refresh....

                  Thanks

PD: I updated the Intel video drivers to the last one, and I still have this problem.
It's a little boring to change the refresh 2 times always that I connect my Pipo.
